You’ll see exactly how I made a stunning company overview video for Red Door Realty—from writing the script and setting the design to choosing visuals, music, and even generating a custom AI image. And the best part? You can follow the same process to create your own video just as quickly.
Here’s how you can create a video like this in just twenty minutes:
Step 1: Generate a video script
The quickest way to go from idea to video is with a script. This will lay the foundation for your entire video so you know what to say, when to say it, and what visuals to use to tie it all together.
With Animoto’s AI script generator, all you need to do is tell it what kind of video you want to make and jot down any need-to-know details. A click later, and you have a powerful video script and some recommendations for visuals to go with it! If you don’t love your script, you can always generate a new one or edit it once it’s in your video.
For this example, I’m going to create a company overview video to share on my website.
Here’s the information I gave the script writer:
“The name of my company is Red Door Realty. We specialize in buying and selling historic properties that were renovated and restored to their former glory rather than modernized. Our audience is primarily creative, upper-middle to high-income couples and families in the greater Pittsburgh area.”

Step 2: Set your design
Now it’s time to apply your brand colors and font so you can make your video reflect your vision. The quickest way to apply your visual assets is with a Saved Brand. One click and two seconds later, you’ll have a perfectly branded video.
If it’s your first time using Animoto, all you need to do is click on the design tab, choose or upload a font, and apply your font and background color.

Step 3: Add your photos & videos

Then, it’s as easy as dragging and dropping them into your video. Your video will automatically suggest different media layouts for you, but if you can always move, resize, and reframe your photos. To do this, add a new media frame (the second lowest icon on the left of your editor) and drop in your media. Or, explore different layouts (top left icon) to display your photos and text together.

Have a specific photo in mind that you don’t have in your library? AI can generate it for you! Our script suggested we use a photo of an antique key in a door. So, we asked ChatGPT to update the photo on the left so it appears to be opening a red door:

Now it's time to choose the song that ties everything together. Luckily, finding licensed music is easy. Animoto has a library of thousands of songs to choose, for every genre and mood.
